Happy Easter!

Here's Alex with his Easter basket. I don't know if you can see it, but he has a bad boo-boo on his nose. It's kinda covered with a band-aid. He was playing basketball outside and fell on the corner of the concrete.
I have no idea who took this but it was on the camera and I liked it so here it is.

Isabella with her Easter basket. She liked the doll but that's about it. I was way to lazy to make her up basket on my own.

She got into the pantry and into the chocolate-covered pretzels.

Isabella knows what's good--chocolate! I think she was eating the chocolate off and spitting the pretzel back out.

They even have sprinkles on them.

Hunter giving Isabella a bath. He's such a big helper.

This is what happens when Hunter gives her a bath.

My try at pigtails again
Isabella sitting on Alex. She LOVES to bounce on his back.

She also loves to grab his hair and make him scream.

This is our 3-legged dog, Lacey. Don't you just love the eyes?!
Well, that's a little of what's been going on around here. I hope everyone had a great Easter.

Just a few pics of my cutie-pie

That pancake was sooooo good.
So much snow!

Getting ready for lunch

She knows how to "cheese" for the camera.
First I wanna give a shout out to Krystal. She gave me the scoop on 'Little Clippies" for Isabella's hair. These things work GREAT. I got the "no slip grips" added to them and they stay in her hair! Love it! I'll have to take a pic with bows in her hair for you guys.
Second, Isabella has developed a severe case of "mommy-itis". I can't set her down without her wailing. At first it was kinda cute, but now......I try to tell myself that I'm just glad I have my little girl go nuts over her mommy. She's also getting jealous over the other kids, especially Alex. I know it's a phase, but man she's got some big lungs for such a little body! She's still sleeping well through the night. I think that rough patch was her ears all along. Between teething, stuffy nose, and bad ears, I don't blame her for not sleeping good.
Soccer is getting ready to start for Alex so I'll be a little busier. I'll post pics of Alex when he starts playing. It's so fun to watch.
Have a good week and I'll post more soon!

Playing in the snow cont.

On Sunday it was warmer so playing in the snow was bearable. I didn't play, I just went outside long enough to take pictures. Alex and Allen built a snow fort. I still had my pajamas on in these pictures. I just wanted a few pictures of Isabella and the snow. By the way, our dogs have returned!! The 3-legged one came home first, followed by the other 2. They were hungry and thirsty but otherwise fine. Today is Wednesday and it's in the 50's and there is still snow at my house. All in all, everything is good here. I have more pictures of things going on here but I gotta spread them out.

playing in the snow

We were still getting snow at this point. I think we ended up with 8 inches
view from the from porch

snow on the deck railing

Hunter

Hunter and Alex. Alex was crying because Hunter kept throwing snow at him. He couldn't get up the hill.

Alex climbing back up
the hill
Smiles after sliding down
Allen getting Alex ready for sledding

Hunter shoveling
I don't have any pics of Isabella because is kept snowing and the wind kept blowing. It was just to cold to have her out. I will get pics but she won't be sledding. Shane decided to stay in so he's not on the blog post. Party pooper! Hunter and Alex seemed to have fun.
We are worried about our dogs though. We have 3 dogs--Sydney who has a bad hip, Mocha who is fine, and Lacey who has 3 legs. We haven't seen them since Friday morning. We don't know if they were out wandering and they couldn't walk in the heavy snow or what. We've been out looking and can't find them anywhere. Pray that we find them soon!

Not much going on

My sweetie pie with her favorite doll. We brought this to her on our visit trip and the foster mother gave it back to us because she loved it.
She loves to put things on her head. I keep diapers in this and she empties it out and carries it around.

Just a big smile.
Isabella's second mommy, Ms.Tammy, Isabella's babysitter, and her daughter Britton.
Again with the tote on her head!

This is not a very good picture. I was trying to do pigtails but she HATES this. Most of the time I just do one on the top of her head to keep her bangs out of her eyes.

Not much has been going on so I haven't needed to post very much. Alex had a program at school about the states. He was Maine. He had to get up and tell facts about his state and they sang some songs. Hunter hurt his knee and had to have an MRI. No tears, just inflamation and fluid. If it's not better in a week they will send him to an orthopedic doctor. All Shane thinks about is his new girlfriend. Tomorrow is their 1 month anniversary and he's already asking to take her on vacation in October. If they are still together, we said yes. It's snowing ALOT here so I guess we can get some good pictures of Isabella in the snow tomorrow. I'll post those later.
