Dirt bike and the pool

I had a really good post all set up then there was an error and I had to re-do it. everything is in the wrong order but you'll get the idea. This is Hunter on his new dirtbike. He sold his other one and got a BIGGER one. I wasn't to happy about it but I must say that he is VERY good at riding. He lived on his other one so he's gotten quite good. He's jumping a little rise in these pictures. There is video at the bottom of the post of it.

This is Isabella in her new baby pool. She loves it . We put her on the BIG pool and she likes that too. The big pool was a little cooler than her's but she still seemed to like it. We bought her a boat to float around in so we don't have to hold her all the time. She is such the perfect angel--so happy all the time. We are so blessed!

What's been up this week

This is Hunter's absolute favorite thing to do--ride his dirtbike. He sold his first one and bought a bigger one a couple weeks ago. This was against my better judgement but I must say that he handles it VERY well. I'm just afraid he'll get too cocky on it and wreck. The video is of him jumping a little rise on our property. I'm afraid he'll want to go taller and longer with the jumps. On the video, you can see his path beat down in the grass. Also the one of Isabella at the end was supposed to go on the next video but I didn't want to have to edit both of them.

This is Isabella little baby pool which she loves. If only I could get her to keep her sunglasses on! The video is the first time with her in the BIG pool. She seemed to like it but the water was a little cooler than the water in her pool. I got her this little boat that she can float around the big pool in so we don't have to hold her. She seems to like that too. She's such a good girl and so much fun. She laughs at everything and loves people. She's never in a bad mood unless her ears are bothering her. We are just so lucky to have her. We are truly blessed.

We're back from technical difficulties

First my camera died, then my computer died. We didn't have anything backed up so I was really worried. Dell came and replaced my hard drive then I took it to Best Buy and let the "Geek Squad" see what they could get off of it. They were able to retrieve everything thank goodness! I had downloaded 300+ songs in anticipation of my new Ipod for my birthday. But everything is good. Everything is now on an external hard drive and all my music and pictures are on my Ipod. I know the text is in a weird spot but I was trying to move 2 pictures down but ended up deleting them so I had to re-post which messed up my order. Anyway, we went to Mom's and Isabella played in the sprinkler. I think it was too cold because she didn't like it as much as I thought she would. It was 96 degrees outside so I thought she'd love it. I bought her a little baby pool that I will post pics of later. I think she'll like that much better.

This says "I love my big brother" The video is just some that me and Alex took the other day. Really this is more for the Foster Mother. I just wanted her to be able to see Isabella actually move and laugh. To M.S.--We love you!

Pictures!

Isabella laying on the couch with her favorite toy--the remote!

These 2 pictures were from the day my camera died so I couldn't download them so here they are. These are very RARE pictures of Shane. He refuses to get a haircut because his girlfriend likes it. He thinks he's cool in his aviators. I will try to post some video soon. It's just been kinda hectic around here. Today was the last day of school for the kids and they all seemed to want to go their separate ways today. It's starting to get hot here so we're trying to get the pool ready. Our cover got 2 holes in it over the winter so the water was green when we took the cover off. YUCK! This is the first year Ive seen it like that. So instead of getting it clean with chemicals, we drained it and are filling it up with clean water as I type this. It takes forever. The water has been running for almost 24 hours and it's still not full. We live on 60 acres so the grass always seems to need to be mowed. We don't mow ALL of it. We have 2 guys that cut and bale part of it for the hay. It's a win-win situation--They get the hay and we don't have to mow it.
On a side note to my last post, Isabella has slept soundly the last 2 nights. I've kept her nightlight off so we'll see how that goes.
Not much else going on. I will post more when I get a minute. Those are few and far between with 4 kids! :)

finally back

Well I finally got my camera back from the repair shop but I've just been to lazy to post pictures. I've been so caught up in Ebay. That is really addicting! I have many collections and my newest one is toothpick holders. I was really good about staying off Ebay for about 3 weeks but then it started calling my name again. (Hello, my name is Angie and I'm addicted to Ebay).

I need a little advice about 2 issues with Isabella. First, she climbed out of her crib last night. She's only almost 17 months and still about 20 lbs so this caught me by surprise. I still think she's to little for a toddler bed. How do I keep her in the bed !? She was sleeping with a nightlight but i decided to turn that off in hopes that if she can't see to get out, she won't try. Alex stayed in his crib forever. He didn't want to get a new bed and never tried to climb out. Shane is the only one that ever climbed out of the crib.

Secondly, I can't remember if I posted this before. Isabella chews and spits out most of her food. She never does with chunky baby food or really smooth things like yogurt so I don't think it's a texture thing. Sometimes she will eat green beans (whole ones), and sometimes she chews for a little bit and spits it out. It's not JUST green beans, it's just about everything. And if I come at her with a cup, everything in her mouth comes out so she can drink. She will not swallow first. I don't think it's that she can't chew it because 4 of her molars are almost all the way in. And what she spits out is really chewed up. I just can't figure this one out. I don't remember my other kids doing this to Isabella's extreme. It just makes it REALLY HARD to feed her regular food. I'm really tired of buying baby food and I'm tired of wasting regular food.

Any suggestions to these problems would be great. other that that, Isabella is still her happy, loving self. She is such a joy and such an attention-getter wherever we go. I promise pictures soon. Maybe a video too. I wish I had gotten video tonight because she was walking up the yard (we have a HUGE yard) and she kept turning around ever so often to wave at us. It was so cute. Anyway, my camera's back so pictures will be back soon!
